Red Neck Fun

Last Saturday we were looking for some fun and thought it would be fun to visit dave and his family in Mapleton. So we loaded up the guns and Annie and headed over. It was great for the kids to be able to ride 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and a horse as well as shoot a lot of stuff!

Cameron wanted to move there : )
I missed the clay pigeon! Not such a good shot.

Like father, like son.

Jackson did great learning to ride the 100.
Thanks Dave for a great day!

Crazy January

The year started off with a fun new years eve at Truman and Carolyn Child's. Bently the yorkie is their little guy. Then for my Birthday I felt the need to diva it up with a tiara. Heather came down from Salt Lake to help me celebrate.
X-Dance is the action Sports Film Festival that coincides with Sundance Film Festival. The Wimmers always give us the VIP treatment and the Films and parties are incredible!
Patti, Paige, Suzi Q and Jill havin fun.
The best part is meeting the athletes! The boys saw Tony Hawk's skateboard movie and got a photo signed. ( note Jackson in the red beanie)
Even Patti and I couldn't resist a photo op! You couldn't wipe the grins off our faces : )
Well I also met Travis Pestrana and am waiting for that pix from a girlfriend so I will post it later. The kids are doing well and Tom has started a new adventure with Click Income. This week he is in Ohio and next week Florida. More news to come...

Thanksgiving

UCSF Ninjas
Golden Gate

Brooke & Patrick-the Twins

Thaksgiving was fantastic. We decided to take a trip back to the Bay Area to see Sullivan family for the long weekend. We drove all day Wednesday to Ukiah, CA which is 2 hours north of San Francisco in the wine country. We spent wednesday night with grandpa, grandma and the Lee's. Thursday, Kyle, Debbie, Nathan and the twins; Brooke and Patrick arrived. Mom cooked a 25 lb turkey that we only ate 1/2 of! It was 70 degrees and sunny-nice! Friday we headed down to the Bay Area and the drive was gorgeous. We stayed in Emeryville right near the Bay Bridge. It is easy access to Shanna, Kyle, Derek and the City. We shopped and relaxed and swam during the day. For dinner we met up with Derek, Tristin and baby Drake born on Halloween. He is so cute! Saturday we toured San Francisco. We drove through Down Town and stopped at the Ritz Carlton. Most of the guys Tom worked with back in 1997 are still there. We said Hi and headed through North Beach, stopped at Coit Tower then on to China Town. The boys were in heaven. We got them ninja swords as souveniers. Then on to Haight-Ashbury for lunch. Our favorite restaurant in the city is Cha Cha Cha. It is a carribean restaurant with walls full of stuff. The boys played i spy the whole time. The food is incredible... We drove up to our old apartment at UCSF and let the kids run around. Next-the beach. We ran around and put our feet in the Pacific Ocean. It was pretty cold. We finished the day driving through the Presidio and took a photo at Lincoln Park Golf Course with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. Whoo...It was a packed day. Sunday we got up early and drove home. We are thankful for our family and friends.

Halloween

Halloween was really fun. The kids trick-or-treated in the neighborhood. 2 years ago we put our fire pit in the front yard and gave the neighbors hot apple cider as they passed by with their kids. Well the second year the guys 3 houses down liked the idea and put their BBQ out front and did hot dogs. So this year, Tom gets the firewood, pit and gets them all ready in the front yard only to notice that a fellow neighbor 2 houses down stole the campfire idea and had one going all ready!!! So Tom just packed everything to the backyard. Rude! Tom goes over later and chatted with the grandmother. She said "Yeah our daughter stole your idea and wanted to do it last year but was too embarassed" Guess her conscience lifted this year : ) Well Cameron was a Garden Gnome and Jackson was a Trapper. Sorry the video is sideways- I can't rotate it.
